Vintage MCM Goldscheider Peggy Porcher Marie Antoinette Music Box Figurine Works:

Good Condition. There is overall crazing, but no flaking. The finish is smooth to the touch. There are no chips or cracks. The designs are intact and the colors are strong. The music box works great! It plays "Blue Danube" so Marie is waltzing apparently. She has a wonderful glossy finish!
The bottom of the figurine is marked "Maria Antoinette by Peggy Porcher" and "Goldscheider Inc" and "Original Goldscheider Fine China". The bottom of the music works is wooden and has a sticker that says "Blue Danube Do Not Overwind".
Peggy Porcher worked at Goldscheider from 1941 to 1947, designing these lovely ladies. This figurine came in many color variations but it doesn't always have the music box, let alone a working music box. You can find her online but she is scarce and it is not likely anybody you know has one like her. This figurine is over 70 years old now. I marvel that she survived intact all these decades!
The figurine measures 6 5/16 inches or 16.03 cm at its tallest point.
It measures 4 inches or 10.16 cm side to side at its widest point.
It measures 4 1/8 inches or 10.48 cm front to back at its widest point.
This beautiful glossy figurine is a fantastic accent in any room or on a desk! I love her! You will too!
