The maraca is cool. Head of an island native woman with hand painted features, red head scarf and metal loop earrings on wood stick, written in marker Tortola. May be a souvenir. Good condition. Tissue near the head where it meets stick. How I found it. It has stuff inside when shook. The head may be a shell of something; not sure. Face has scuffs, lumps, and scratches due to age/use. The earrings tarnished, darkened, dirty from age/use. The scarf has light soiling, a few stain patches and frayed areas that may be intentional. Semi wear fabric spot on scarf's hanging part on edge near fabric threads. The stick is aged colored, soiled, wear, part of the brown part of head has excess on stick. The writing Tortola is faded in spots. There may be other flaws due to age not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Sold as is, as you see it. See all pics. The head may be a very slight bit wobbly but intact and not loose. Measures 10.5" X 4.5".
