Here is an antique Steel Sliding Bar Clamp by the Cincinnati Tool Company, C.T. Co., that was made prior to 1925 when company changed name to Hargrave Tool Company in honor or the Hargrave family that started the company in the late 1880s.. The circle \'H\' logo on the tool denotes that the tool was made after 1912 when the senior Hargrave past away and the son became the owner of the company. Clamp is C.T. Co #498-A. Maximum opening of clamp is 8-1/2\". Overall length of the clamp is 12-1/4\". Very good to excellent condition with no signs of abuse or damage. No owners markings that I can find. Bar is straight. Tool has some surface rust as shown and is covered in oily dirt and sawdust as found in old workshop. In very good working condition. Will leave to buyer to clean as desired.
