This classic Smith Corona Sterling typewriter was made in the USA and dates from 1954. It comes with its original case. Latches secure it firmly to the case, but it can also be easily taken out to be placed on a desk. There is no longer a key present.

The case measures 13 3/4" width x 14 3/4" depth x 6 1/8" height.

The typewriter measures 12 3/4" width x 12 1/2" depth x 6" height.

Both the case and typewriter weigh a hefty 17lbs 4oz

CONDITION, PLEASE READ: This typewriter "almost" works fine. It needs a new ribbon.

This typewriter shows signs of age and wear which is to be expected for an item of this age. It has blemishes and markings in places on its body due to moisture in storage. Examine all the pictures closely. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of it's exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The fabric on it's case is worn in places. The case though is solid / functional. The item photos serve as a document as to its condition.
