Victorian Era Sculpted Brass Clenched Fist,Early Trade Union, Labor Movement Brass on a heavy cast iron base3.75\"x 2\"x 1.75\"This little sculpture with the clenched fist, synonymous with many different movements was adopted by the left wing at the height of the industrial revolution and had become associated with the labor movement by at least the turn of the 20th century, probably earlier. These were perhaps given as awards or sold as gifts to be used as a paperweight or simply for display. I found a few of these for sale on the internet in the $150 to $400 range.
