Exceedingly rare historic document being a newspaper from 1854 from Lima, Peru. It is written in the English language. The title is "The Foreign News" Lima, Peru, Wednesday, May 24, 1856, Volume 1, Number 8. It is composed of current news, ads, etc. A really nice window into the life and times of the western world, and the life and environment in early European-ized Peru, South American. The document is 4 pages, with the last page partially missing on the bottom portion (see photos). There are other creases, folds, small losses throughout, mostly along the edges.The newspaper measures approximately 18 inches by 12 3/4 inches. It will be sent in a new high quality vinyl sleeve.
