I see at as a gray with a bit of blue metal but may be just gray .My screen is pretty accurate on the color
Hinged so it is collapsible when needed . Carl plate on front with 2 slots to name
Extended bottom tray front to end of top tray back is 17\" Long about 6\" height extendedInside Tray is 13\" x 9\" about + 1/4 \" on these to be exact on inside dimension but 13 x9 would fit comfortably
