The military appointment dated February 2nd, 1901 is signed by Theodore Roosevelt the 26th president of the United States from 1901 to 1909 and then secretary of war Elihu Root.Overall, the document is in very fine condition, considering its age. The ink is bold and the images are crisp. The paper has no, tears, folds, or pinholes, but some slight foxing and wrinkling around the perimeter edges. The document is sealed by film to an acid free foam core backing.
