This set of 3 comic books features the beloved Disney movie \"The Black Hole\" in comic book form published by Whitman Publishing in 1980. The Black Hole is a 1979 American science fiction film directed by Gary Nelson and produced by Walt Disney Productions. The film stars Maximilian Schell, Robert Forster, Joseph Bottoms, Yvette Mimieux, Anthony Perkins and Ernest Borgnine, while the voices of the main robot characters are provided by Roddy McDowall and Slim Pickens (both uncredited). The music for the film was composed by John Barry. With a production budget of $20 million, plus another $6 million for advertising, it was at the time the most expensive picture ever produced by Disney and the first ever PG rated film from the house of mouse. The comics are a mixed lot of action, adventure, cosmic, and science fiction genres, perfect for any collector or fan of the movie. The comics are from the Bronze Age era of US Comics and are in great condition, ready to be added to someone\'s collection. Check out the pictures for more details on the comics. These issues are without tears and in fairly good condition considering the age and obscurity of the material. My decision to list them as \"acceptable\" is based on the crayon on a couple of pages and my personally strict grading (note these have not actually been graded by a professional).
