HOLMAN STADIUM

Holman Stadium was the spring training home of the Los Angeles Dodgers in Vero Beach, Florida, for many years. The Dodgers held their spring training camps at Holman Stadium from 1949 until 2008. It was one of the iconic venues in baseball history due to its rich tradition and historical significance in the sport.

Holman Stadium, named after former Dodger owner Walter O'Malley's financial advisor, Bud Holman, was known for its old-school charm and was a beloved location for Dodger fans during spring training. The stadium saw many great Dodgers players train there, and it became a symbol of the team's connection to Vero Beach.

However, in 2008, the Los Angeles Dodgers moved their spring training operations to Arizona, marking the end of their long association with Vero Beach and Holman Stadium. The team now conducts its spring training at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona.

The departure of the Dodgers marked the end of an era for Holman Stadium and the Dodgers' spring training in Vero Beach. The facility has since undergone changes, and as of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the future use and development of Holman Stadium were uncertain.
