Offered is this circa 1935 Griswold , Victor series, with full markings, size number 8 cast iron skillet, with inset, raised heat ring. Reference found on page 19 of The Book of Griswold & Wagner (blue book). Top rim measures 10 inches in diameter, standing 1-13/16 inches tall. It measures 10-9/16 inches between outer edges of spouts and 14-13/16 inches long, from end of handle, across pan. Its weight is 3 pounds 13.1 ounces.

This 99 year old pan is in excellent condition, with very light signs of use. The pan bottom sits perfectly flat, with no wobble or spin. All lettering is boldly visible. The cooking surface is perfectly smooth, with no pitting or gouges. There are no chips, cracks or rust. It has been thoroughly cleaned by electrolysis and baked seasoned with vegetable shortening. This is a hard-to-find, high quality skillet in very collectible condition.
