I am offering a Santee Sioux child\'s beaded vest ca. 1800s - brain tanned/sinew sewn.
Beautifully beaded child\'s vest that showcases elaborate beadwork on both the front and back. The venetian beads include gold beads. The leather is thick - perhaps buffalo. The entire vest is lined with soft cotton cloth with hand stitched inserts on each side. The lining was machine stitched to the leather.
Size:13\" long x 12 1/2\" wide
Condition:From an estate - the beadwork is in great condition. The cloth has faded, but otherwise in good condition.(GM273)
