SHAFFORD ~ Early Sitting 12\" SCHNAUZER DOG Figurine THE KENNEL CLUB (#137) ~ Japan
Description of item...Here we have abeautiful and adorable porcelain sitting SCHNAUZER DOG figurine (style #137) made by SHAFFORD of Japan.
It measures approx. 12\" high x 8-1/2\" long x 4-1/2\" wide. It is in very good maintained (curio cabinet)condition with no cracks or crazing, but does show a tiny glaze/paint fleck on the rear hind (see close-up photo #7)...not offensive and not obviously noticeable without close examination (minor exterior bottom rub marks from shelf top movement/handling.)
The bottom is marked, \"THE KENNEL CLUB BY Shafford © ISI.\" Came from a well cared for private home collection of some years, however the exact age is unknown. This item weighs approx. 1-3/4lb., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
