Robert Mosses [1888 1981] was an American urban planner and public official who worked in the Metropolitian area during the early to mid-20th century. Despite never being elected to office, he is regarded as one of the most powerful and influential individuals in the history of New York City and New York State. Listed for sale is the autograph of Robert Mosses signed on a First Day Issue postal envelope. The autograph is signed ''R. Mosses'' in blue pen, the cover is postmarked World's Fair April 22, 1964, and affixed with one commemorative World's Fair U.S. postage stamp. The cover measures 6.50 X 3.50 inches and is in very good condition.
