This is a Medium size Metal Nicho / Retablo incorporating aprinted sepia tone image of Frida Kahlo, Mexico\'s most famous painter and feminine Icon. She is surrounded by Silk Flowers and Gold braided Trim. The Virgin of Guadalupe is Mexico\'s Patron Saint, and this is a lovely tribute to her. This retablo opens from the back so if you wish to you can add something special and personal. There is a loop on the back so it can be hung on the wall, and also a small kick stand so it can be free standing on a table. This lovely piece wasallhandmadeby a talented artist named Edith from San Miguel de Allende.... Edith is also the artist who makes the small day of the dead prints I sell as well as some lovely hand tinted etchings....
