$698.00
Rare TOMBSTONE AZ Pima County Arizona 1886 Original Newspaper w/ O.K. CORRAL AD (Note: additional images are located below the description) Shown is an original & historic old newspaper, offered to enhance your collectible interest: THE DAILY TOMBSTONE, Pima County, Arizona, April 30, '86 (1886)* Gunfight at the O.K. Corral fame
* Rare advertisement of the famed livery stable
This may well be the consummate "Old West town" much romanticized in movies and television shows, perhaps most famous for the gunfight at the OK Corral involving Wyatt Earp and the Clanton gang. I would almost suggest that this title is more rare than the Epitaph as we have received far fewer issues of this title during the last 38 years.
To add to the attractiveness of this issue from Tombstone is a back page advertisement for the "O.K. Corral" (see). Various other news and ads of the day including a detailed page 3 account of brutality by the Apaches upon some women (see).
Complete in 4 pages. There are many archival repairs to pages 2 & 3 and some extensive repair work to the bottom one-third of the blank spine.
Please Note: All of our offerings are 100% authentic! We do not offer reprints or reproductions of any kind. They are guaranteed to be original!
