Original WW2 British PIAT monopod.The PIAT was first issued to British troops during WW2 in Tunisia during the North African campaign.What\'s particularly rare and interesting about this monopod is the original tan paint; which was generally applied for a desert environment, indicating this monopod could have been on one of the first issued PIATs during WW2.
Overall the monopod is in good used condition; it retains a majority of the original finish with mostly just some chips in the paint, some scratches / finish wear with some dings / minor bends in the base (just cosmetic) and some spots of light surface oxidation from longterm storage.
The clamping and elevation mechanisms have been tested and function properly.
