This vintage Girl Scout uniform from 1948-1955 is a true collector's item. This uniform is on the silver green material. The uniform includes a hat, badges, tie, belt, and pins and is in great condition. You can tell the age of the uniform by the label in it. There are 2 long haired girls-1930’s to 1955 on the label making this one of the earlier uniforms. The short and long hair girls on the same label were made in 1956 to 1968. The Dress has a full button front. It has been hemmed up and it looks like a button is missing, but the button hole is on the hem. There are 6 badges on the Silver green fabric and the troop #2 and 2nd Class Clover patch on the sleeve. The Newer ones had yellow embroidery instead of the green from the 40’s. It has the Web Belt with the Sliding Metal lock. The Tie is the correct one for this uniform and ties with a square knot with the traditional Eagle Trefoil pin on it. The Hat is discolored from age a but and has “divets” in it but no holes. This uniform showcases the iconic design of the Girl Scout uniform from this era, making it a must-have for any collector.
