Rating scale: We rate our items, including glass and pottery on the following scale:

EXCELLENT:- No obvious flaws. Close to new or in New condition.
VERY GOOD:- Smaller flaws indicative of normal use and age.
GOOD:- Larger flaws/marks but no significant damage.
FAIR:- Significant flaws such as chips, cracks, scratches, but usable.
POOR:- Not worth our time or your ours. But, Sometimes, I do put something up in this condition, but it's usually because I think, even with considerable damage, someone MAY STILL WANT IT, but the price will reflect the damage. It's hard for me to throw away a htf or rare item, damaged or not....

IF there is any damage- it is shown in the last two pictures (possibly more) and will be listed as damage in the sale description under rating....

PLEASE see pictures for measurements as in MOST cases, there will be a yardstick, tape measure, etc. next to the item so that you can see for yourself what the ACTUAL size is.

I purchased this by picking various places and am starting it at less than I expect to sell it for, but at a minimum price that I can (hopefully) still afford to pay the and Paypal Fees and for my time to find it, list it, package it, clean it, and ship it all covered up in bubble wrap and cellophane like a futuristic mummy.

IF, somehow you win an sale or buy an item and I notice some damage that I didn't notice prior, when I go to pack it up, I will contact you and refund your money before I will send you an item that is unacceptable.

Shipping:

Items can be combined to save on shipping, but must follow all regulations regarding weight, size, and content.

The combining of items is limited to a continuous 14 day period unless otherwise agreed on.

By default the seller ships items the least expensive way. Expedited shipping services may be requested, but are subject to seller approval and are the financial responsibility of the buyer.

All items are shipped via USPS.

The pictures taken are usually with AND without flash, to show you the item in different lighting. **Without flash is usually the more accurate color.**

The flash will usually have a darkened background & without the flash you can usually see the background details- if this helps you to figure out which is which.

If you have a question about the way the item looks in the lighting of the pictures- please contact me so that I can send you other pictures to make sure that you want the item and it is the color that you want.

I am an experienced shipper so your items will be VERY carefully packaged.

Taking this into consideration I usually add an extra 6-8 oz. on to the weight because I sometimes double box and add a lot of packing material, if something's especially fragile. Or, for framed art, I add an extra lb. as extra weight is incurred by the excess padding needed to stabilize the glass (as good as possible).

Combined shipping is available on all sales.. if you do win more than one item contact me and I will find out the actual shipping cost, so before you pay the bill, wait for my invoice instead.

Sometimes, I don't wash the item at all if it will compromise the item in some way. (Original paper or foil stickers, old hand-painted items.)

I buy most of my pieces at sales, flea markets & yard sales so, most of the time, I don't know the history of the item.

I am not an antique dealer or expert.

I describe the item along with any flaws and markings I can find the best that I can.

But sometimes, something that may be noticeable to you is not necessarily noticeable to me- so please review all the pictures.

Ideally, PAYMENT is expected within :

Your standard postage rate includes cost of boxes, tape, and shipping materials.
The rate you pay isn't always what's noted in the listing- MOST THE TIME, BUT NOT ALWAYS. I am just a small store and I SPEND A LOT ON the cost of packaging materials. COMMERCIAL BUBBLE WRAP IS PRICEY!! So if postage paid isn't over a substantial amount, it helps on packing supplies, which you will note, I am not stingy with. IF it is over, say, $3-4, shoot me a message with your email address and I will send it to you as soon as I see the message.

ALSO, sometimes calculations are wrong on amount of postage. In most cases if it's below $5 I will actually cover it without asking for reimbursement, (this happens way more than I'd like it to- unfortunately). If it is over though (more than$4-5), I will contact you to make sure you still want the item for the postage still needed. If not, I will just cancel the order and you will not be penalized in any way, shape or form.

Shipping is to be either Priority, First Class or Parcel Post. Sometimes media mail (books, DVDs, etc).
