A new and unissued US Selective Service Medal three-piece presentation set. This medal was awarded following the Second World War to civilians with exceptional service to the Selective Service System. A seldom seen medal, this set consists of the full-sized medal with crimp brooch and pin fastener, matching ribbon with pin fastener, and the buttonhole lapel pin. These come in a marked presentation case with leatherette cover. This is actually a mint condition set, but the case does have one flaw - there are two small sections at the hinge where the leatherette has pulled away.
