WOW! Here is an Original 1882 Scientific American Letter w/O.D. Munn Signature. This interesting 6” by 9 1/2” letter offered a free copy of the magazine hoping the person would get a subscription. At the bottom they were asking to help the reader with any Patent issues. This is signed, “Munn & Co.” I am not 100% sure that it was O.D. Munn who signed it, but the signature looks very much like the one I found. Munn bought the newspaper after it was only 6 months old for around eight hundred dollars. The letter opens to show the terms of subscription. The back gives information about Patents. This was folded for mailing. There are a couple of small stains. Please see photos for condition.
