100% naturally formed/fossilized Mollusc shells clumped together in a matrix of stone that formed around them, a type of Scallop. Found along the western side of the Chesapeake Bay, in southern Maryland, pulled from a collapsed section of (primarily) clay cliffs along a beach after a particularly bad storm, many years ago. The shells and other various fragments of ancient marine life are randomly concreted together in a very unusual, very unique shape/form. Makes a very interesting display piece, has something to look at on all sides, too.

Fossils which are naturally formed and found as such are, by definition, extremely old and have been exposed to the various elements for a very long time, so no fossil can really be \"new\", condition is a relative thing and varies withs each individual specimen. Grading can be very subjective, so I will leave it up to the potential buyers to make that determination.
