The Oryol Watch Factory at one time produced chic built-in clocks for kitchen installation. The proximity of the computer plant, apparently, gave an impulse to watchmakers to supplement the quartz movement of the Jantar clock with a timer.

The timer is based on the UTP-T46 microcircuit. The settings are set by the switch switches.
Four of them are needed: two to select the hour (the first switch can only set the values 0, 1 and 2) and two for the set of minutes (values up to only up to 60).
