These are Launch Entry Suit wear for NASA crewmembers on shuttle launches and training. These are the leather boots fromAddison Shoe Company, and the Part and Serial numbers are written on the inside of each boot, and yellow tape with the size and serial number is on the heel. These were designated Class I WIF for Wear In Flight until downgraded when excessed. NASA JSC Parts tag with travel history included, comes in deaccession bag with EVA and inventory stickers from NASA. Crew member color coded velcro tag attached to laces. These were worn by NASA Crew for training and most likely flown. Boots came from JSC in Houston, and no further history is known and can not be 100 % percent verified flown. in space. Still an interesting piece of Astronaut wear from the Shuttle years.
