This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development and Testing of the "H1", J2 and F1 Rocket Engines for the Saturn V (Stages) and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968-69, Lastly from 1971 until Retirement he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engines. This listing is for a NASA MSFC APM-1000 CHANDRA Project Plan Book dated March 13, 1995 and is staple bound with 69 pages. Plan/Book is "PROJECT PLAN FOR ADVANCED X-RAY ASTROPHYSICS FACILITY - IMAGING (AXAF-1) DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, AND OPERATIONS" for what would later be known as CHANDRA. Book isin Excellent overall condition for use and age with some expected minor storage wear, tabs on some pages and handwritten markings. Tabs have been left as found and each tab marked page has handwritten notes/markings. Badge shown in picture 12 is NOT included in listing, but shown for reference only.
