Beautiful little Nantucket Basket with Liner that has pockets. Only signs of wear are on the bottom, excellent condition- I don’t think it was used as anything other than decorative because the interior is super clean. Has drawstring.

Please ask me anything. I only know a little about these baskets and sold a different one several years ago that was signed. It was insanely expensive (closed over $800 at sale) This is from the same estate but has no signature and the original owner passed away Feb. 2024 so I truly have no concrete information. The owners were avid collectors of art and folk art and were often in Antiques Weekly (Newtown CT) so this could be a known artist, or ….just a basket?
