Size: Track is 6 inches long (positive and negative) on a 9.5” x 6.5” irregular rock slab.

Here is an excellent trace fossil. This is a large fossilized dinosaur track. It is a very displayable Grallator tenuis track from the Jurassic of Massachusetts. This robust specimen has excellent relief, and the detail of the pads and claw impressions are easily seen. This specimen includes the positive and negative plate of the dinosaur track impression; one being concave and the other being convex. It is rare to uncover both halves without breaking one and so this specimen demands a premium.

The track has been darkened for contrast, and is nicely presented on the natural plate of matrix. This is an exceptional example of a dinosaur track that would easily fit on a shelf or in a display case of any dinosaur fossil collector.
