Each stand is 3 1/2\" deep and 4\" wide and comes with a GOLD ENGRAVED name plate with ENGRAVED LETTERS MEGALODON. I just recently bought a large parcel of fossil shark teeth here on and I needed a way to display them. I had bought stands from 123thegemshop for my Megalodon teeth before, and was so thoroughly pleased with the seller’s work that I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. However, I had a conundrum. I wanted the scientific names of the sharks written on the name plaques instead of just Great White or Mako or the generic name of the extinct shark. So, I wrote an email to the proprietor of 123thegemshop and asked him if he would do some custom stands for me. To my pleasant surprise, he would: and did. He was so concerned with the attention to detail that he asked me how I wanted the words to be arranged on the plaque, whether or not I wanted them in all capitals or only the first letter of the first word capitalized; like how they do specimens in museums! His turnaround time for this special order was a blindingly fast three days! I now have ten beautiful stands with the full scientific names of each of my specimens on them. They look so beautiful on the solid oak stands! The craftsmanship the owner of 123thegemshop employs in making his stands is so wonderful and fantastically executed that I can’t imagine going anywhere else for display stands for my precious fossils.Sincerely,
