Lalique France Gentiane vase, mid century 1955-1965 older design, very rare vase. Very clean, signed at base Cristal Lalique France with signature circa 1955. The estate who consigned this to me has many older crystal pieces, and this was in a display case with 4 other similar sized older vases like Malaga and some Coquilles items. This is a beauty. Classic Lalique style with frosted staggered shell or leaf design on either end. It measures 6.5" tall, see all photos. I see 1 small flaw, a mark in the top rim that looks like a tiny scratch. I circled it in red here in photo #12. See all photos... this is a terrific vase to add to your collection!

The original model number in 1955 was 12225. The catalogue price was 3500 french francs.... you can look up on the web (historical currency converter) how many dollars that would have been back then if you are curious.
