This listing is for a rare William Henry Kestrel single collector knife of a small set from 12 years ago.

It was produced on April 21, 2011, and perfectly named the WHITEHORSE

This listing is for a B-Series William Henry knife. It is a B09, in fact, which is WH’s number shortened for the Kestrel type of knife. Kestrels are shorter with a slight curve while you see many of my other B-Series William Henry pieces listed are B05 Monarchs including some of my own. They are straight blades with curved tips as well.

**The WHITEHORSE is a LIMITED EDITION WH knife of 50. This is piece is exactly in the middle: #25 of #50.*

Not a single number off. This means there are 49 other knives in the entire world that are cut from the same fossil. There will never be more, and none of these look exactly the same either.

This rare LIMITED EDITION knife features the William Henry’s famous “Wave” patterned Damascus blade. I attached a couple extra pictures of closeups on the blade alone just so you can truly see and admire the craftsmanship that went into this blade alone.

The ZPD-189 core of this knife, mentioned in the COA, is at HRC 65-67. The HRC simply is the toughness and strength of the blade. Most strong knives are around 60. That means this knife is incredibly hard but balanced by the cutting of the ZPD-189 core that was specifically made with the other metals including the titanium frame

Rarer than usual, there are three stones on this Limited Edition. Along with the single colored orange sapphire, this William Henry knife’s also possess two autumn leaf hued spessartites. They almost match. Each are held within an 18k gold bezels, these orange gems serve as the thumb and button stones that manually open the knife. Together, the frame creates a timeless picture of humans creativity with metal, gem and nature entwined. The sapphire is only cosmetic.

The specialized scaling of this knife is from a fossilized wooly mammoth tooth. The natural grooves and dips show how extraordinary this fossil truly is. These enormous pachyderms went extinct 6-10 thousand years ago. Now, we can see and feel their physical presence on something as small as a pocket knife. This particular fossil is smoother than some but you can still feel some of the natural grooves.

The display box, insert piece, and BLACK OSTRICH leather carrying case are in prime new condition. The certificate of authenticity has a tiny amount of wear knife has never been carried or sharpened. It is in pristine condition as well.
