This book features two well-known Americans in high school. Jonas Salk, the developer of the first polio vaccine, is a junior, and playwright William Gibson is a senior. Each appears with a nice posed head shot in the book; Jonas appears in two additional group shots (see attached scans.)

This book is in very good to excellent overall condition. The front cover shows several indentations along the top and bottom edges, but is otherwise in good shape with the gold embossing still intact and shiny. The corners of the covers have all been bumped with cardboard exposure. The spine shows modest wear, especially at the top and bottom. The front and rear facing pages and the pages immediately after/before all show foxing. There is exposure of the mesh binding all along the inside of the inside rear cover, but the integrity of the book is not compromised in anyway. There is some waviness to some of the pages, but there is no sign of moisture anywhere. The rest of the inside is in fine shape with no writing at all.
