One set of twelve bound volumes of Car Craft Magazine, 1959-1970, from the George Barris personal car magazine collection.I recently purchased the collection from George's son.The collection consists of 1000s of car magazines from the 1950-1970s; individual issues, hardbound sets by year and magazine title, and car show programs.His son stated that these are the issues that George Barris kept for his own private collection.I will be listing many of them.I have one "Barris Kustom Industries Certificate of Authenticity", signed and dated by George's son, stating I purchased "the original George Barris vintage magazine collection from his son". A copy will be provided with every item sold from the collection.

This set of twelve hardbound books was in the collection I purchased.Car Craft was the 5"x8" magazine size before July 1959. A full set of the 5"x8" Car Craft issues is listed separately.
George's son told me that George did not take magazines in his collection to be hardbound. Rather, the magazine's publisher provided George a bound volume each year.
Car Craft Magazines are great time capsules capturing the hot rod/custom car/drag racing/musclecars of the era.
