GIRL SCOUTS ~ Early Pair of 3-Leafed Traditional Trefoil BOOKENDS (Syroco Wood):
$38.00
Here we have a wonderful vintage pair of GIRL SCOUT BOOKENDS displaying an early three-leafed trefoil designed model representing GS (Girl Scout promise: God, Country, Mankind) and the traditional American symbols of an Eagle, Shield and Shaft of Arrows. Each measures approx. 6" high x 5" wide x 3-3/4" deep. These particular bookends were made from a pressed mold of syroco wood, appearing to have a nice aged dark tan finish.
Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact ages are unknown, this Girl Scout design emblem dates from 1920's-1940's. This pair of bookends weighs approx. 1-1/2 lbs., add 2 lbs., or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
