The Scutum was a crucial piece of the Roman armies battle tactics.This is a Fully Functional Roman Soldier Scutum for SCA or LARP.The Shield has been constructed from 18 Gauge Mild Steel with hand painted Roman markings in red and gold.The center Boss of the shield is polished Solid Steel which is welded on by six bolts. It\'s very strong and sturdy.
