FINE EXTREMELY RARE ANTIQUE SOLID STERLING SILVER 1920s BOY SCOUT HOLDING RING TREE HM 1922
On offer is this fine, extremely rare antique solid sterlingsilver ring tree. What makes it very special is that it has been crafted, in intricate detail, as the figure of a boy scout, in 1920s uniform, holding aloft the ring tree - please see the photos - and they do not do it justice.
HALLMARKS: Adie & Lovekin Ltd; Birmingham 1922.
APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS/WEIGHT:It is just over 11cm in height from the base to the top of the tree; 3.5cm in diameter across the base; and weighs 31g.
CONDITION: In good antique condition, especially considering it is 102 years old. The silver figure itself is very good. The ring tree section needs a bit of attention - one arm is missing and one needs to be straightened out. The felt base is a replacement.If you have any questions, pleaseask. Any dark marks, etc are reflections or bits of age-related patina.
