Elementsfrom the periodic table can be rearranged to form any substance in the knownuniverse, each with their own unique properties; playing cards can berearranged and placed in different orders and sequences to create differentplaying card hands. Both feature symbols and numbers. And both live within anorder and structure. Elemental Playing Cards exists to explore thesesimilarities.

The OxygenDeck takes its inspiration from the 8th element on the periodic table as wellas magic. The court cards take advantage of the different ways oxygen is used,and the jokers are meant to bridge the gap between science and magic byshowcasing a magician performing the famous water tank escape.
