This is an extremely cool fossil. It is an excellent specimen of Plumulites sp., a Machaeridian, and an Onnia superba Trilobite association from the Ordovician of Morocco. This large armor-plated worm is complete and very well displayed. The striking fossil exhibits wonderful detail - the feather-like structure of the individual sclerites is even preserved. The distinct worm has great natural color and wonderful contrast and is beautifully showcased on the large, natural plate of sandstone that also contains a nice Onnia impression (counterpart) and other fossils. This is a very cool and collectible fossil worm and trilobite association from North Africa.
