Dr. Kildare color comic strip 12 X 18original printer\'s proofsheet. The proofsheet dates back to the 60s, theperiod when this comic was drawn by Ken Bald.Printer proofsheets include all the color and printing and registration marks,and are printed out with just a handful of copies, in order to check that allthe printing plates lined up and that the color is correct. They wereconsidered throw-away items and few comic strip proofsheets were ever kept, letalone nearly perfectly preserved. What\'s remarkable about this piece is the condition- there are slight creases, and one small chip missing from the lower right side. It\'s perfectly flat, onlyslightly yellowed, and probably the best preserved version of this originalcomic strip that exists today!
