Some very slight ware to the pattern in a couple of areas on the edge. Otherwise looks way younger than its age!Marked R No. 1162244, OSBORNE, JH DAVIS. This is the British registration number. This plate precedes the time that imports had to show their country of origin, so it is not marked England. A lovely piece of brown transfer ware very indicative of the late 19th century Aesthetic Movement which transitioned design from Victorian to Edwardian.
