These highly collectible figures were part of a set which were distributed by Bandai, a Japanese toymanufacturer/distributor,and were retailed as individual examples inGashaponmachines found in Japan.
They are amazing with all the components placed inside a package not much bigger than a billiard ball. The details are mind blowing given their size, and the engineering is top notch too! This one comes with two interchangeable mouths, one is closed while the other is open with a cool looking tongue and attitude!
This version is designed to be painted, a very popular endeavor in Japan as it offers you the opportunity to "customize" your collectible that reflects your tastes and style. We recommend a light wash in a gentle soap prior to painting to remove any films left over from the manufacturing process. A good acrylic paint either brushed or air brushed applied looks very nice and you can follow up with a flat or shiny clear coat for durability.
