This is an authentic antique German lidded beer stein that was made in Germany (West Germany).
The Stein has great artistry and beautiful craftsmanship with a lid made out of silver. There are Edelweiss flowers in design and a rustic outdoor social gathering. The phrases on the stein are "Bei Freud u Scherz* and " bleibt froh das Herz" ( the heart remains happy with games and jokes).
The stein is approximately 11.5 inches tall and approximately 4.5 inches wide at its widest point.
