A fabulous 19th C. jacquard in navy blue with an orange geometric print and a tree design at the bottom border. It is seamed in the center, consistent with similar jacquards from this era, woven on smaller looms. There is a 3 inch fringe at the bottom edge. It is reversible and can be shown with the orange ground and navy blue geometric print and trees. It would fit a double or queen bed - the photos were taken on a queen.

The condition is excellent for a piece of this age.We note a couple of little holes, typical of these antiques, that don't go through both layers of the wool. There is one small opening in the center seam, as pictured.
