These circa 1920s spurs are made of forged metal with fine silverdamascene inlay on the sides in intricate stippled designs, ornate and flowingon the outer sides and striped pattern on the inner. These are Mexican, likelyfrom the village of Amozoc, famous for its spurs. It is said that revolutionary leader EmilianoZapata wore a cherished pair of Amozoc spurs he won in a contest. Some familieshave been working at their craft generation after generation, for more then 300years. The bands are 1-1/8 “ wide. Eightpoint revolving rowers are 2-3/8” in diameter
