This antique photograph showcases an early aviation moment from 1911 featuring the Albatros Flugzeugwerke F1/F2 Farman Airplane. The photograph is a rare piece that captures the aviation history of Germany. I've narrowed it down to a Albatros F1 There doesn't seem to be too many early German aviation photos. Picture measures 6.75" X 4.5" It is written on the back of the photo Albatros Flugzeugwerke 1911 (At least I think that's what it says) bottom of picture is Foto: Deutsche Lufthansa ( Archiv ) The gentleman in the picture looks like he could be military officer. If so this could be one of the earliest German military aviation photos. Photo has some minor normal wear.
