Up for sale is an Antique Clay/Composition German Belsnickle Santa in a Red Suit Riding a Paper Mache Brown Flock Bear with Collar marked Germany and Face Harness that is worn. The Bear is approx 3-3/4” tall and approx 7” long the Green Felt Saddle Blanket was made for him. The Santa is approx 4” tall from Tip of his Hood to his Boots holding a Goose Feather Branch. The Santa has a hand painted face and rabbit fur beard. Santa’s boots have paint wear and one strip of cream trim in the front to middle of the back was replaced. The Cream Trim was stamped Germany but a few letters are missing that said Germany and the Blue Felt Pants have tears and wear. The Bear has Amber glass or plastic eyes and open painted mouth. The Collar is stamped Germany and the face harness is worn. The Santa is holding red and white cotton cord that is attached to a wood sled with replaced cardboard runner and a composition cub rides on top. The sled is approx 7/8” tall and 3-5/8” long. There is red glue residue on the underside. The Cub is approx 1-1/4” tall and 2-1/4” long. The Cub is composition and has a vertical line in the neck area done at mfg. the Cub had some scuffs mainly on his back that were touched up. Shipping to Us only $11.85.
