Antique 1890s Imperial Arcade Mfg. Co. Coffee Grinder.Imperial manufactured these coffee grinders from 1885-1939. This particular one was made in the 1890s.Measurements: 4.75\" tall by 6.75\" long by 6.75\" wide. 9.5\" tall from the top of the handle to the bottom of the box. The handle is 7\" long. The diameter of the cast iron base is 4.75\" and the diameter of the mouth is 4\". The drawer is 2\" tall by 5\" long by 5.25\" wide. The depth of the drawer is 1.75\" tall by 4.5\" long by 4.75\" wide.This grinder is made from wood and cast iron and manufactured by Imperial Arcade Manufacturing Company in Freeport, Illinois, U.S.A.The wooden part of the box has quite a bit of wear consistent with age and use. Most of the label has rubbed off of the front. There are small bits of wood that have rubbed off as shown in the photos. The box itself is still solid and the mechanisms work great. The cast iron pieces and wooden handle are still in great condition as well. The grinder could use a good cleaning.
