We make the scales from a high performance composite. They are all handmade with careful attention to detail.All our scales have been sanded to 220 and then coated with a clear lacquer on the book-matched face to highlight their unique color. The scales roughly measure 6" x 2" x 3/8".
Knife Blanks/Scales as received are not intended to be a finished product. Our intent is for them to be ground down from the shiny side down to your desired thickness sanded then polished.
