Beautiful hand painted vase signed Sommer Abend. I know nothing about it other than it is stunning and looks like it came right out of a museum. Cupids on both sides and a lovely dove. Faces are beautiful. Many of the gold details are raised adding texture and elegance.
It has a tiny bit of rub off some of the gilding and a teeny tiny chip on the bottom (see photo), neither of which detract from its beauty.
