This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Jerry Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development and Testing of the "H1", J2 and F1 Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968, Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine where he helped design the RS-25. This listing is for a 1997 NASA KSC MSL-1 (Microgravity Space Laboratory) on STS-94 Columbia July 1, 1997 COIN. Coin is Sterling Silver stamped .999 FINE SILVER and has been stored in a clear/acrylic coin case (will be shipped in the same case as shown in pictures). Measures appx. 1" diameter and weighs 31.28 grams.
