The network, using hair-thin fibers, offers voice and data transmission. Up to 100,000 phone calls can be carried on a single cable less than an inch in diameter. It can also handle 2,000 pages of text in 10 seconds.Photo measures 9.5 x 6.5inches. Photo is dated 04-29-1985.
